NI Komplete 9 release date? possible changes?

Does anyone have info regarding the release of Komplete 9?
Any ideas what to expect in the new package?

And lastly, when do you think the 50% sale will occur?

I am busy deciding whether to wait for K9 before updating to 8 and taking advantage of the 50% deals they normally have on upgrades.

they just had a 50 % sale at thanksgiving, so i doubt it'll happen again before then. Also, the 50% sale works for every komplete instrument individually, but not for the komplete package.

No idea about the changes though, is it supposed to be upgraded soon?

That's just the thing Rmonik.
The Summer 50% sale is different.
It encompasses the Komplete range as well.
Generally before the release of a new Komplete package, they will do a 50% sale on updates and cross grades.
Last year I just missed the K8 update for 50% less.
Which is why I'm wondering when 9 will come.
My biggest concern is that I go update K8 for $229 and a month later it's going for $100 or so.
It's not a huge whack of cash but it's enough to warrant me waiting.

native instruments has been consistent in dropping the price of komplete just before they release a new version, in fact they did this for maschine before the mk2 was released and they generally do this with most of their products. there hasnt been any news recently or any rumors of an upgrade, but expect one after you see some price drops in komplete and komplete ultimate.
