Computer musicians are technicians?

I'm wondering if you guys can help me with my school work, knowing there are amazing artist here, I want to get some opinions from you guys!
"Computer musician are technicians?"
Do you agree or disagree?
and why?
(Note: Opinions will be put into my essay and school presentation)

Technician denotes proficiency in a topic. A pianist can record computer music as long as he hits record and has a midi keyboard, he isn't a technician but he is a 'computer musician'. So I disagree.

I don't like the term "Computer Musician". It seems to have a negative connotation, like said people aren't real musicians. People use computers to create music, but they are just musicians. You wouldn't call a guitar player a "Guitar Musician."

Rephrase it as `people who use DAWs as their sole method of music creation are technicians` and I`d say yes. EDM producers are engineers much as producers...
