Hey. I just have a quick question about the Novation ultranova. Can it run mininova patches?

I think they can since they use the same engine.

I have the novation ultranova as well, i have never thought about trying the mininova patches. OP did you download the free artist patches from the official website?

Nope, I don't have the ultranova. Nor the mininova but the patches on the mininova seems so much more usable from my perspective, and I like the design of the ultranova more.

OP just went on the official site in the answerbase section and it appears you can use the ultranova patches on the mininova. This is what it says;

"Are the Ultranova Soundpacks compatible with Mininova ?
Yes ! You can load these in via the Librarian, as you would using the Ultranova . The only exception is for patches that use the Vocoder. These may sound slightly different. This also applies to user made presets."

What about if you want to use the mininova patches on an ultranova?

Any idea on that?

I had a look but there was no info about it. I also checked if you could download the mininova sound patches again there was nothing there. Which one are you steering towards?

I was going to get the ultranova because of some of the cool features. But I wanted the mininova patches. Seems like I'm going to get the mini after all then ^^
