Re: UTOPIA (Channel 4)
thought it was pretty shit, the continuous build-up of adverts for it led to an anti-climax too.

Re: UTOPIA (Channel 4)
Anyone else still watching this?
Episode last night was a bit slow but still say its the best British drama i've probably ever seen.
Visuals are consistently gorgeous and the two sce.es at the start and end of episode 3

Is it still good? I cant deal with waiting week by week so I usually watch the first one then let a few episodes build up. Might catch up over the weekend or something.hutyluty wrote:Anyone else still watching this?

Re: UTOPIA (Channel 4)
Yeah i heartily recommend it. The plot is pretty confusing but it hasn't disappeared down the rabbit hole yet and the acting is generally pretty good (even the kid actors who generally let stuff like this down).
It's the cinematography which is the best feature though- it feels ike i'm watching a film, beautifully shot and loads of background details (eg. There's an easter egg when you call a 'info number' displayed on the news in programme): I'm going to watch it all back after the end cos i'm sure i've missed loads of stuff.

Lovin it.
Where is Jessica Hyde? Hah. Kill List man is weird.
I was thinkin its one of the best British dramas I've seen for a good while. Saw one poster for it..not sure what other 'hype' theres been other than word of mouth people likin it..one person rated the plot had fcked off along with Jessica Hyde but I don't see it, the intensity's good for me

Re: UTOPIA (Channel 4)
what did you man think of black mirror last night then?
Re: UTOPIA (Channel 4)
it was alright, good acting and that especially by the woman- it felt much more drama-ey than last year focusing a lot on the human process of grief as the centrepoint, rather than the technology overmuch- though it was a interesting idea- ended up trying to think what a person based on my social media posts would be likeTopManLurka wrote:what did you man think of black mirror last night then?
I did like the ending, sticking the old technology you don't really need in the loft like everything else, letting your kid go "use" it every weekend or so- like an iDad or something.
Re: UTOPIA (Channel 4)
Black Mirror was really really good last night.
Re: UTOPIA (Channel 4)
