For our final drop of 2012 we are pleased to introduce you to an artist who we guarantee you are going to be hearing a lot about in 2013. Toronto producer J-Lah has really been coming on strong lately with a steady stream of Trap leaning productions on his soundcloud and a growing DJ diary in and around the city.
Making and playing electronic music for 6 years his style is part 808 Rap swag and part Rave energy, slotting him in perfectly with the current wave of “Trap” music taking the dance floor by storm. This guy is no trend hopper though, his production pedigree is much farther reaching and his incendiary DJ sets ensure that J-Lah is a name that will be around for years to come.
This mix is full of his own tracks alongside some choice dubplates and remixes. Early in 2013 watch for J-Lah remixes appearing on Inner City Dance as well as a wealth of new originals and remixes stacking up on his soundcloud.
