Was thinking about getting it so I could get some ideas down when I'm at work or travelling.
I'm not expecting to be able to make full tracks on it, but would I be able to export midi files and then use them in logic or ableton?
Does anyone on here use it?

I'm pretty sure you can only export to the full version of FL. The app itself isn't bad. I like it more than nanostudio and less than garage band. If you work in that step sequencer sort if way, its cool. But if you want more freedom and controll, I'd go with garage band.

i couldnt do it, try to work things around on that tiny screen is too tedious for me, i could see it being nice on ipad though.

Madness. Nanostudio beats ass over the FL app IMO. Garageband has some cool features, and some notably lacking features too.
But seriously, nothing that I know of can touch Nanostudio out there right now. Better workflow, serious synth power, all the MIDI bells and whistles.
