i also wanted to have dominant wubs so i think the mixdown could be a bit dirty.

Nice attempt, structurally sound. You're right in saying it sounds alienlike, I'd like to hear a little more variation with the main synth though, and overall sounds. There is a high frequency in your main 'wub' sound, which was very tiring for my ears after a while.
