Lorenzo Senni did an album on eMego last year called Quantum Jelly which was a series of trance deconstructions. well worth a listen.

What this amounts to is the Italian artist identifying generic characteristics - super-saw synth lines, ludicrous build-ups, instant-gratification melodies - and drawing attention to their strangeness through isolation and repetition.

I cant tell if your being sarcastic or not. In all seriousness how the hell can any person with any musical taste like that? I couldent stand more than like 7 seconds of that.

Here in South Africa we have regular outdoor psytrance festivals, usually from saturday morning till sunday night, some going for 4 or more days. Multiple floors, intense lighting and huge rigs in tranquil locations like game reserves and mountain ranges. Very open drug dealing and taking, shitloads of mud, and thousands of people fuuuucked on acid/mushrooms/mdma/anything. They are good fun.

I don't get what people see in this genre. But like Agent, it really isn't as bad as some garage people on here that people seem intent to die for...
