If ya gotta spare coupla minutes check out my first tune. It's called Yes Rudeboy and you can dl it from myspz page:

It's a bit different I guess - 40bpm and a vox line starting 3 minutes in, but hey I like it.
I'm totally new to production and still have heaps to learn, so any advice would be awesome

quite liking it. very spacious. not too sure about the orchestral type hits. however they do create abit of suspense. vocal didnt really sit well for me though. good stuff for first tune though. nice one.

Thanks for the comments - hugely appreciated
I think I tried to cram a lot in cos it's all new. Am working on a new tune now that is much more minimal.
But it's slow going for me
thx again

i on the other hand like the hits
i'd tone down the percussion just a tad, make it more coherent or whatever
and pull up some more bassline
some of the samples are annoying, i like the female rapping at the end
all in all, its a cool track
as a beginner your ability to tend to detail is amazing. you have more to
learn in the realm of effects, but it seems that you can get your idea across
well, which is hard to do.
serious props man. i'll bet my bones you'll start making hits in no time as
long as you keep it up
