Hey there, this is my newest track 'New Byte'. I would just appreciate any feedback I could get on this, thanks

I like it, really good bassline and nice 1.30 drop, just feels a bit muddy in places, so take mayeb another 100hz or so off the deeper sounds/bassline, and just use sub bass? best bet imo

and the snare has no real beef behind it? need to either double it with another snare or use the vengeance kit?

cool track, that first synth reminds me of some oldskool rave tunes lol. nice. Agree with mik3, deffo need to beef the kick and snare up

I pretty much agree with everybody elses posts. BEEF THE DRUMS UP! Everything, Snare, Hat, Kick, everything needs to come up. Build your parts around the drums not the other way around. I also agree that you need to pull some frequencies to keep the muddiness at bay. I think EQ on the drums will help alot as well as on your synths. Drop out the lows and use sub bass as suggested above. That will add a more "Full" feel to the track. Keep it up man!

Thanks for the feedback, thats really helpful.

I've tried to get the drums up but I'm not sure what else to do, I have layerd them and eq'd but it starts to clash with the low mids of the drop??

I really struggle with these drums, I thought they where a lot better because I had them real low before. I have eq'd the drums towards the low bass end and the snare towards low mids and some more towards the top end for the crisp clarity. I have a sub bass but I'm not sure if I have eq'd it correctly. I have a lot of bass to I have eq'd the low end up, should I put an eq on the master and just bring the low end down and the mid and highs up?? I am new to this and looking for help, thanks
