classic, have their second LP on vinyl. like the first one more though, more suitable for just putting on a track and zoning out.
bong ra is part of them! they also covered a venetian snares tune or, well, used it as a part of one of their own.

You know the most incredible thing about this?
Bong-Ra is actually one of the main guys that started this band.

Those of you who like this should check out Bohren & Der Club of Gore, the Mt Fuji Doomjazz Corporation and maybe stuff like Heroin and Your Veins. Good shit.

No idea anybody else here was into Bohren&DCOG! Yes yes... good stuff.

Lately I'm finding that nothing anchors down my drum tracks like a layer of jazz drums.

Happy to see someone else is into them. I forgot exactly how i stumbled upon the kilimanjaro darkjazz ensemble, but their music blew my mind since the first time I listened. Very interesting stuff!

Some of the tracks by Kilimanjaro are just like, weird industrial noises and creepy ambience, some of it sounds like proper horror movie stuff. I once fell asleep listening to Bohren really loud and the playlist moved on to some of the weird tracks by Kilimanjaro, I woke up to a bunch of scary screeching noises completely covered in sweat feeling like I got abducted by aliens and/or raped by Freddy Kruger in my dreams. Really weird experience. You dudes should try that. Never on drugs though. Never ever ever.

i like bohren und der club of gore but the apparently are in taht one guy has no hair and we are form the middle of germany and we are dif and we make jazz trap i think the ystarted with deathmetal or metal or sth but i like their tunes jsut not their whole idea of everything is black most jazz artist are balck so i take that as an insult to jazz
