This week, we welcome back one of our previous guest on Kongkast. It’s been exactly 4 years since the day we first had her mix on our website, and we couldn’t be happier to have her back.
Kongkretebass Kongkast # 185 featuring ALLEY CAT (KOKESHI, ESP, Feline/ UK). Since her previous mix with us 3 years ago, Alley Cat and her label “KOKESHI” has gone from strength to strength.
With their highly successful “Kokeshi ((pod)) Kast” broadcasting a spectrum of bass music, as well as club nights called “KOKESHI KLUB” at the infamous Fabric London.
With the recent release of the CD ‘Kompilation’, the label’s biggest project to date, dropped in October 2012, featuring tunes from the Kokeshi ((pod)) Kasts. The 13-track CD was offered in both unmixed and a mixed format put together by Alley Cat herself. The album launch at Fabric showcased the eclectic theme behind the label with artists on the night Calibre, Lung, Irrelvant, Alley Cat and LX: One.
