A trend I'm seeing in newer dubstep

I've been hearing a little too much music that sounds exactly like; or similar to Eptic... I'm not saying he didn't copy another producer to adopt his style, but he is the first producer that I heard using highpassed screeching leads ontop of warm defined sub-bass; with his intense melodic influences in the drop, and funky ass beats. The mind blowing part about the whole thing is: the amount of these producers getting famous for music that is so poorly produced. Half of the songs I hear like this give me chills because all of the leads fighting for space in the higher frequency range fuck with my head. I feel like they go Lex Luger on the shit and say "naw dog I don't eq i just turn up da bass and send it to a professional." Anyone else seeing this too? Or is it just me....

I am not a skilled enough producer to be able to hear what you're hearing. And that's what I think it'll come down too. Few will actually notice.

Exactly, that's my theory; but then again I wasn't thinking about the positives when I posted this. Look how far electro music's come since the 90s. I guess modern dubstep has the potential to grow into something amazing in the future; aslong as people are actually experimenting instead of making the same song 10x over, which doesn't seem to be case right now. That's why I love this forum. Love dat variety.

jesus christ, only went and googled this fuck.
Summed up everything i hate about the genre, this is the dubstep equivalent of clownstep i swear.
Soundcloud
yep - every horrible element is jammed right in there.
-pitched up snares.
-generic movie quote/title combo.
-screechy muddy mids
-nursery rhyme melody
