FWD>>This Friday>>Who the heck is playing?
Any ideas? Few hours of work is enough to have me thinking of the weekend already.

Yep, me and Blackdown are playing - not sure about the rest - been incommunicado for a few days - hiding under the bed counting my dubs!
We're doing the first set - been planning this one for a long time...
Blackdown on it here.
Incidentally - can anyone recommend some FWD>>resistant headphones? The ones I used to use have finally died. Even if they hadn't, I've a feeling the Plastic People subs would have shattered them anyhow!

I recommend THESE

They are great for the studio.
but also good for EVERYTHING
an' that includes FWD>>
I don't actually own a pair though, sadly. I just KNOWS
my current set is a pair of "Ross" originals, old as you like, available at any jumble sale or charity shop. They only works in one ear though. And sometimes you have to jiggles wit tha lead
But they works fine at FWD>> or any other club, so far, so good
Before that I had a set of "Air India" !

Nice one jonrust, Benny and skrewface. Thanks for the recommendations.
Will take a stroll around town tomorrow lunchtime and see which of them my bank manager agrees to me getting.
Just to put things into perspective, here's my old ones. Obviously I couldn't afford such a hefty price tag - I inherited them off a mate's grandad... They were so tight they blocked out most background sound but left marks on your head like you were a forceps baby! Not a good look.

In fact I had a pair of them ones years back, they were great!
Nothing like the old "can" type, much better for mixing, provided you can hear equally well out of both ears ( not a joke )
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
Philips cans are cool
Don't watch the haters/posers/pricks
They might have newer more expensive headphones...
But have they got any BOOKINGS???
Does it improve their mixing?
ANSWER: NO
