Looking to expand my listening/library

Hey guys, dubstep is by far my favorite genre of music all around, but it seems like I tend to stick in one general area when it comes to selection, they call it "brostep." I don't care what people will or won't call it I love it, but I want to expand what I listen to. Some of the artists I listen to are Skrillex, Excision, Datsik, Nero, Bassnectar, Doctor P, Flux Pavilion, and such.

I am open to new artists and songs, but the music just tends to be similar and I want a wider selection to listen to rather than just monster grwols, angry wobbles, and in you face lazers. Hey, I live that stuff, but I want a bigger selection.

If you guys can help me with giving some of you favorite artists and songs it would be appreciated, and they can be from waaay back to, like some old Skream, Benga, Caspa or Burial. Anything you got, I'll check it out!!!

I'm really into far out atmospheric stuff and heavily melodic stuff like Lindsey Sterlings Crrystallize. I love her playing violin!!!

Also I only got into dubstep a few years ago because of a reccommendation of Skrillex, so I'm still new!

Awesome list dude, thanks! Love how all but like 2 are in abc order lol. I have a few Skream & Burial tracks, but they're kinda too laid back for my taste, are most of their songs similar? I think one is Midnight Request Line. Like I respect it and enjoy it to some extent but at the same time, it doesn't make me want to dance. I'm not hating, just sayin my emotions, or maybe it's just sub heavy and my car doesn't pick up the rea low end.

I'll look into these artists and the youtube channel and if anybody else has any other artists or songs like Hatcha, dubstep, grime, dnb, whatever.

Favorite tracks are awesome too!!

i got the strange feeling OP is more into youtube links and not in the mood of looking for tunes themself so i'm making this special array of embedded songs on youtube catered just for you you're welcum, strictly dubstep vibes cas you prolly dont like house

in case you got excited about these you'll probably like the following labels: boka, wheel 'n deal, tempa (some releases), chestplate, hench and maybe even kapsize

why come to dubstepforum if you think dubstep is too laid back? Also, that violin track is utter crap mate. No matter what genre you prefer.

@Joeki: you misread my reply earlier in the post and you are entitled to your opinion as I am entitled to mine. If you don't like the song and have no artists or songs to give, why did you open this post or even bother wasting your time leaving a comment. Don't be a troll...

My journey in EDM started with techno, trance and house then turned into dubstep when I heard Gemini and Skrillex.I do enjoy pretty much all EDM, but dubstep is what I'm looking to expand and if I'm listeningto a song for the first time and am not immediately entettained I'll change it like Pandor or iheartradio and it's a terrible habit, that's why I figured I'd see what you guys like and check it out!

Thank you everybody, it is greatly appreciated and my library is about to become much bigger. Much love

i think this is a bigger issue than you trying to find new music....
