Sound made in Massive sounds distorted ...

Hi,

I know that SC transcode the tracks into 128kbps that's why i always save a sample made in Massive into 128kbps to hear if it's distorted before finishing the track for upload.

Well today i have a first! Never had any problems but this sound i made sounds horrible distorted/cracking noise when saving it into 128kbps.
Does anyone here ever had this and if so do you know how to fix it?

Hm, upload the sample so we can have a listen. The only thing I can think of is clip distortion. Did you check it wasn't clipping?

It ain't clipping. When i save the sample in 320 it sounds great! Just not in 128 wich is needed for Soundcloud :/

Soundcloud limits to -2dB (I think it's -2), and it crushes the low sounds and high sounds. Subbass will have an annoying buzz on top, and hats will have a weird distorted crunch. If your sound is in those ranges, it'll probably have that. :/
