Weird Ableton Live Delay Issue

Audio playback on one of my projects is jacked up.

Earlier I had my friend's USB drive in my computer. I was waiting for everything on it to be deleted (11gb worth, about a for minute wait) while at the same time working on this project in Live. While it was still deleting my friend comes in and just takes it out of my computer. Some errors showed up , one with Live not being able to find a file for a sample. I don't remember all of the errors. Anyways, I'm sure this is where the audio delay started happening, either from him removing the USB drive while it was still deleting or me accidentally pressing something on my computer while reaching to stop him.

Now whenever I press play the audio comes in about 500ms after. The meters in Live show audio playing before I can hear it and my audio card only shows an output when audio actually comes out (the 500 ms delay). Everything else is fine. No CPU overload, no track delays or anything. And it's only happening to this one project. The hell is going on?

And yes, I restarted my computer.

Check under your channels, there's a a Delay for each track, maybe you hit that?

a) In preferences (ctrl+,), under Audio, is a Driver Error Compensation slider.
b) Reinstall

I think it'll be a plugin causing the delay, you probably didn't notice it before when it was playing. Any plugin that adds latency can cause this in Ableton, mine does it too.

Omfg I figured it out. I had Fabfilter set to maximum latency on one of my busses >.> I never would have checked any of my plugins. Thanks guys.
