Afternoon all from Okinawa.

I received an email from my brother James Blake saying "I've just done a remix". This Harmonimix was attached.
After almost 3 years of only James Blake and myself playing this piece of music as an exclusive dubplate to our audiences in dances across the world, we've finally decided to give this remix a release.

Yeah the vocal felt kind of separate from the remix. Like someone added it afterwards. But it's still a pretty good remix of a classic. Will probably be sold out by the time I get home but at least there's an official YouTube video.

Its Medi069 so no not a limited white label I don't think.. however like all Medi it is limited to a certain degree. I'm sure you have plenty of time to cop it, just depends if you wanna take the risk

Am I the only one who doesn't think this is amazing? For sure yer it's pushing boundaries but I don't think it comes anywhere close to the original!

The vocal does fit it's just that james blake uses an entirely different key/chord progression to the original, the main melody is exactly the same but because everything else around has been transposed to a completely different key your brain thinks it's off because it's not the chord progression you're expecting

also i think it may be the actual sample itself because the actual notes of the melody sit fine with everything else
