Finding new tracks with SoundCloud

I've found that SoundCloud is a really easy way to discover new dubstep music. Just search for the dubstep tag and order by latest (requires switching to classic). Something new is uploaded almost every minute, much of it is fairly good, and while I'm new to dubstep, it seems like most tracks are correctly tagged.
Does anyone else do this?

Well this can certainly be true as new artists are always uploading their tracks to Soundcloud. Doesn't guarantee they are good but they very well could be.

My fear is that since SC and webradio are my two main sources of new music, the eventual rot and corruption of big money will turn SC into just another targeted-ad/personal info reselling vehicle. AND THEN WHERE WILL I FIND MUH TRAPDONK MIXES, EH?! TELL ME!
Miley Cyrus. Pfffft. Wonder if any of her "collabs" with Borgore are on there.

You might have a better time looking at who artists you like follow. I've recently found a lot of barely unknown producers I would have never heard of othorwise

Yeah, I do that too (thanks for the suggestion.) Especially when I see the same people in common pop up between us... just worried that paid ranking will tamper with that.
Also, just found Discovr which is a really cool app that does this and actually works (unlike a lot of music referral algorithms that recommend someone way more obvious/mainstream for most of the folks I'm into. Like, "Oh you like Holy Other? Check out David Guetta!"

)
