Hey guys, my problem is that when I'm mixing using the mixer in fl studio, say I have something set to 50%, after a while I check it again and its jumped back to where it was say 75%? I check all the automation clips and they are the same, Its like it wont do what I say lol. I wanted to move my bass from 72 to 74 % on the mixer and now its at 90% and wont budge! It does what I say and then soon as I come off it its like it changes when Im not looking! This is a real problem and its probably something stupid but its making me lose my patience!

Thanks

Put it at the level you want, then right click and select "Init song in this position". I think that should do it.

I don't know then. You should probably just delete all the automation clips linked to that mixer channel and redo them.

^^ you can do that, or if you haven't automated it previously. make an automation clip for it at 50% or whatever percentage you want. Then you that automation clip for any/every particular part of the song you want it at that level.

Right click the fader, click the "link to controller" option, click reset and then accept. Should unlink it from any automations. Then either delete the "init song position" event in the browser or set a new init value.

Yeah, if you change the volume (or panning/whatever) in multiple places, one of them is going to take priority and movie if you want it too or not. If you have it linked to an auto clip, the fader isn't going to do anything. It'll always move back because you programmed it to be at a certain point, so it's going to want to keep it at that point. The older versions of Fruity Loops were bad for this. If the track was playing, and you messed with the volume, it would change the volume the same way every time at that same point of the song instead of just keeping it at the volume you wanted.
