Haven't finished watching it yet but the tune is a beast so I'm sure there will be something helpful in it

Edit: The bit about the sample becoming the bass line is awesome

Pretty interesting. The part where he uses the crash cymbal as the reverb on the snare is clever, hadn't thought of that. Haven't gotten to the bass resampling yet, that's obviously the exciting part but pretty good find so far man. Nice.

Pity Vocodex didn't work with his Cubase, ended up not being able to show how he made the most interesting part of the tune.

I've been looking for a good vocoder for logic for a while now, emperor from critical uses a similar technique in his masterclass of monolith.. Been messing around with logics vocoder today running some stuff through it, didn't sound anywhere near as good as vocodex.. :(

Yeah, I'm going to dick around with Logic's stuff for a bit and see what happens. Are you familiar with the sub bass generator plugin that comes with Logic? That might be a good thing to add in.

district should do a walkthrough on 3.5grams,
that tune was in my old mp3 player that could contain up to 10 songs
only bangers were allowed in :Q:

Oh god I had a 32mb one when they first came out. Me and my dad converted all my tunes down to the lowest bit rate so I could have more music. My poor ears

I had one of those too, was amazing having multiple albums on one CD, no more carrying one of these to school - https://www.blueberrybrands.com/retaine ... 150-38.jpg

This was the mp3 player I had, thing was a beast and used CF cards for storage - http://images.geeksimages.com/imageshar ... R-unit.jpg

Back on topic, been playing with Vocodex with mixed results. Might post something if I can get it sounding decent
