People have done wonderful things with Sylenth1.

Synth1 and Sylenth1 different synths.
Both are very capable though. I've never used Synth1, but I've heard it's quite easy to use and sounds great.
Could be a great free alternative to Sylenth1 too!

I just typed Synth1 into the search bar on DSF and got 172 results, most of which seemed helpful. So yes people use it and I'm sure if you go through those results a little bit more thoroughly than my brief scan you will find examples of what it can do

i use it.
thick sounding synth with the best EG imo.
it is an emulation of the swedish red VA synth nord lead, which every psychedelic producer uses

There supposed to be coming out with is iOS version sometime soon. IIRC.

^ OHAI! That's great news, although hopefully they don't do what Crystal XT did and strip out all the synthesis controls...
