Remix Question??
Long time reader of DSF, first time posting.
Ok so this is probably a really silly question but I've been working on a track recently over the last few days and just the other day decided to slap an accapella on top of it. It actual sounds really nice together. So my question is, is this track now considered a "remix" or is it a mashup of an original track w/ and acapella, or what?? I'm a little confused but of course my main concern is crediting the artist and song of the acapella. Hope this makes sense, thanks!

Re: Remix Question??
Original Ft. Artist of Acapella
Re: Remix Question??
Thanks, appreciate the help!
Re: Remix Question??
Or you could call it YOURNAME - Track Title (Accapella Artist Vocal Edit)
Or you could call it YOURNAME - Track Title (I pasted this accapella ontop my track and its DOPE refix VIP)
Or Accapella Artist - Accapella track title ( YOUNAME Bootleg)
Or YOURNAME - track name VS Accapella Artist - Track title
Or call it the Harlem Shake.
At the end of the day its your call man, just dont try to sell it with uncleared samples is my only real advice.

Re: Remix Question??
Call it simply: Artist 1 vs Artist 2 - song1/song2 (mashup by remixername)
Re: Remix Question??
Can be either a remix or a mashup. Calling it anything else makes no sense. People call dub remixes with 10 seconds of an acapella a remix so yours is definitely a remix or a mashup. But you made it u can call it whatever youwant
