Officially over the hill now, release number 40 on Bludclot Recordings comes from Seal Team 666, an alias of Agoraphobic Nosebleed madman J.Randall – the mastermind behind Grindcore Karaoke – which is typically reserved for harsh noise and the like. Here, with this 2 track EP for Bludclot we see him flex some muscle in the dubstep realms; however, it goes without saying this isn’t your typical dubstep.
Heavy compressed drums that are pulled more from industrial music than dubstep, huge grinding basslines from all angles, some ingenious percussion fills, and clever noise and vocal samples to round it all out and pull it all together. Tough and heavy, deep and heady.
