Hi Guys am getting to the end of my tether with this problem been pissing me off for a while now and have still not managed to resolve the issue, hoping someone here can help! Basically I have 2 x Technics sl1210 mk2's, 1x Denon DNX120 Mixer and my LG HiFi with my decks connected to the mixer in the usual way and an RCA lead running from my mixer line out into my HiFi RCA line in. However I seem to be getting a delay in the sound travelling from the mixer to the HiFi, basically if you are mixing two tracks in your headphones it sounds fine, but the moment you pull up one of the faders the mix just clangs because the sound is obviously travelling at a different speed through the headphones as it is through the hifi. I have looked everywhere online but can't seem to find anything to help me solve the problem it's obvious that there are some latency/ delay issues but I can't figure out how to solve them! Please help!!! :Q:

Does your stereo have some noise or dynamics processing going on? Some kind of built in DSP could be causing latency.

I agree, almost certainly is an issue with your HiFi system. My Yamaha has all kinds of weird DSP driven things on it that get turned on accidentally and do all kinds of crazy shit to audio. I shit you not there is a Cave setting that makes it sound like you are watching your shows in a fucking Cave. Dunno why on earth anyone would want that.

It's hilarious when useless features get added to products just to try and set them apart from the competition.
"Oooh but hunny, this one has a cave button, does that one have a cave button?"

Yea, lol. That's exactly how that would go at a big box store.
