It's pretty meh imo.
Kinda understandable at least personally when most of the best most memorable bits for me on Homework and Discovery were sampled which they didn't seem to do at all on this LP.
Sounds a bit too clean for my liking when it comes to funk.

Such an immature thing to say. I love daft punk but i don't think this album is very good.
Writing haters gonna hate is one of the most pointless and infuriating thing to write and offers nothing to discussion.
this is a music forum where people talk about music. grow up

So, where's the point here?
As I understood, he didn't even bother to listen to it because there's a huge hype machine pushing it. The bad bad mainstream....
If he did hear the album, i got it wrong... But then I still don't see how that post adds to a discussion about the music.

I can totally understand that people dislike the album, given the high expectations and the fact that this Lp is pretty different from any other Daft Punk album. But I think this is a fucking well produced Pop record. And i think it's meant to be one!? The overall sound is absolutely brilliant... The Giorgio Moroder track alone is pure heat. The only downside is that Nile Rodgers didn't contribute to more songs...

Well produced, but the songwriting and vocals are simply weak.
I'm highly disappointed by the Todd Edwards collab.
Album art is extremely shit as well.

Discovery/Homework were so good that Daft Punk will probably NEVER produce albums of that caliber ever again. In fact, I doubt anybody will.

wub: I think/hope I played the drums @ the end, on the last track.
god damn haterz convention in dsf never getting laid la la land.
The Artwork and Album title are exemplary, it's not a concept album,
but the Daft Punk concept is challenged on this album, and the results are grammy award winning.
MARK MY WORDS/

I really love that pink noise at the end too, it's a really awesome finishing touch.
song with Panda Bear is a keeper too! But those Pharell songs are the JAM, love his falsetto.

Steely Dan and Fleetwood Mac all the way, it's a great album.

H8 to admit this but MBV<DAFT PUNK, there I said it.
