The venue is ranked as having one of the best sound systems in the Bay Area. Admission this week is $5 before 10:30 and $10 after 10:30.

Illegitimate Children is a musical experiment started by Derek Janni, a real-life math nerd and electronic music producer whose taste for weirdness has garnered him respect in a crowded and often homogenous scene. His music cannot be easily pigeonholed: taking sounds from electronic music's past and warping them into a new framework, his music is both future-oriented and nostalgic at the same time. Constantly morphing rhythms propel his tracks and blasts of 80's synthesizers, droning space sounds and reverberating vocals add layers of unique weirdness to them.

Wielding a sound born out of influences ranging from drum & bass to post-rock and everything in between, Mesck is a Los Angeles transplant who has a unique, multifaceted involvement in electronic music. For most of the past decade, his varied talents as a producer, DJ and graphic artist have been both highly sought after and markedly influential within the upper echelons of drum & bass and dubstep genres. With several recent singles, remixes, and an EP release credited to his name, Mesck has gained the attention of a newly-expanded audience eager for more of his densely weighted, yet ethereal approach to electronic music.
Mesck, (a.k.a. Zach Mellion), first became deeply involved with bass music culture in 2005 through the DNBNation collective, a global group dedicated to the intricate, futuristic strain of drum & bass known as neurofunk. He contributed heavily to the brand by curating the visual aesthetics of DNBNation while also DJing and hosting a weekly radio show under the same affiliation on DNBTV. During this time, his keen eye for design came to the attention of some of the largest names in drum & bass, subsequently leading to him creating work for artists like Photek, Quadrant and The Upbeats and record labels such as Violence Recordings, Project 51 and Human Imprint amongst many others.
In 2012, Mesck has started making a larger name for himself as a DJ at the legendary Smog and Bassrush events, and also with his series of “Fault & Fracture Mixtapes”. Member of the Irie Cartel and Resident DJ / Co-Operator of Ritual Dubstep in San Francisco, Mr.Kitt has been Rocking crowds the past few years. Born into a British family from Gloucestershire,the first generation American has been influenced by his British cousins and friends who introduced him to early British Electro,2-Step, Garage, Grime & Dubstep. While spending most of his youth
canvassing the west coast as a predominant graffiti artist, Mr.Kitt was drawn to the dark, ominous sounds of bass, inspiring him to put down the spray paint and pick up the tables after an encounter with
the law.
A self-proclaimed Bass fiend, Mr.Kitt prides himself on making each show unique. He often looks like a DJ Priest performing an exorcism on a crowd; causing them to convulse uncontrollably as he delivers deadly drops aimed to please men and women alike. His cohesive sets take you on a journey of melodic breathers, bassgasms,and near aneurisms. Feeding off of positive energy and raw emotion,Mr.Kitt's ability to read crowds and deliver the freshest sounding dubs has gained him the love of crowds all along the west coast. Plug
