I didn't like the songs they previewed (that I know of?), 'Made To Stray' just sounded like "2013 house" to me. But I wuuuuved 'Maybes' and 'Crooks & Lovers' and the first tune here is good on first listen.

U kno, dat jazzy choon that comes in after Made To Stray (that sounds much better than it did the first few times I listened to it) is dope as fuque.

lurrrve it so far. that second tune with kid krule is weird but has totally grown on me. i like the increased use of vocals/guitars etc.

I find their voices so boring. Need more instrumentals or things like 50 mile view. Anyone seen em recently? They're playing in my city soon and I'm kinda reluctany to go cus of this revent change

no, that isn't what i said. I said I don't understand how people enjoy THIS particular bit of music. That doesn't mean I have no comprehension of other people's taste differing from mine. Sick of that tired ass response.

I can usually understand why something's liked even if I don't like it. I found this record to be particularly boring and generally bad.

I'm 50/50 on it, haven't listened to it I made this thread. There were moments I dug but also I didn't. It's said that they used a lot more standard rock instruments but it sound a lot colder to me than their other stuff.

Did I equate hating to "expressing taste"? Not quite.

There's a big difference between "It's boring" or "It's wack" and "It's not really my cup of tea." I'm not trying to make anybody like it. Just have something fucking constructive to say.

saying anything not accompanied by a warm pat on the back = hating
