Scene in Aarhus, Denmark

I'm heading off to Denmark for a few months in September and I'm hoping that there is some kinda scene over there for underground dance music in general. Anyone know of decent spots/nights etc that are happening over there. Cheers!

hey man. I am not from Aarhus but Copenhagen, and I know a few peeps in Aarhus. You should be looking for B-huset/Godsbanen near the train yard area which is/was(?) a venue, but still is a network for underground art and music. And also take a stroll down Mejlgade and hook up with Frontløberne or Kaospiloterne, which are both alternative education institutions and hangouts.

As for a bass/dubstep scene, thing are pretty sparse for the time, as I see it - but keep your eyes open, things is happening once in a while. Denali Sound did do a lot stuff around town, but are moved out the central town, so Nicks events are becoming rarer.


Best spots/venues imo are Godsbanen, Atlas, Voxhall, V58, Train (if they got good names on the night).
