Hey guys! SO i question poped up in my head awhile ago was how do people get there inspiration? Im fairly new to producing and got the ins and outs to good sounds and basic mixing but i just cant put the effort or get the ahh ha moment going in my head. Ive made this intro to a song and sounds good well for a newbie first song but when i started working on the drop im at a blank. I made 3 basses, all sample and eq the hell out of them! but i dont know how to arrange it or fit perfectly? Any ideas or exsperience with "writers" block i guess? Also the last thing with work flow? Do you do anything different like start a drop first or break down then make the intro/bridge etc. Any speciale workflow that fits you or set up you have for your projects? Thank again and honesly before making this account ive read a good deal on hear and has really gave me new ideas and skills.

Drugs.

Also, there's a producer forum for these kind of questions. :)
You might already find some answers there: http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewforum.php?f=8

The drug thing i would try but im still in highschool and parents are against anything really, but when i move out i will every now and then maybe also a bit of chew to calm my nevers a bit, i think its called having anxiety?

on a more serious note: stay away from drugs. including cigs, fastfood and alcohol. they won't do you any good in the long run, and you've got only one body to spoil.
again, if you're interested about "now", try asking in the producer forum.

Thanks, and i know its bad and all but i know in life you got to have balance nothing crazy and nothing boring. Im not going to start shooting up meth and sniff crack. From what i learned only use substances for a reason not because its nice or "fell good" wether it be your depressed, health problems, or you just need that cig or joint to cool you off when your at a low but if you do it for a kick and recreation then no its not ok. I cant stand people especially in my generation smoking and getting shit faced every friday for no reason but to party. I know whats right and wrong and if im having a crap day which i do sometimes it would be nice to relax a bit. I dont know its a very touchy subject with any drugs or addictions but as long as i know whats right ill be fine :W: Next subject people do what they want no matter what. But back to the music man!

The guy who said drugs probably wasn't serious. You're stupid for taking it serious. If music doesn't excite you enough already to Give you inspiration and ideas then quit and get a real job.

Cup of coffee, something to eat and a blast of fresh air usually does it for me
