The guy's talented as hell, that 1983 album is massive. He's got a 6 track EP coming out on Warp next month, for what I could hear it's a little more weird and choppy, I liked it even more!

Think those remixes have been around for quite a while now.
He's doing wicked stuff at the moment, the new EP is really nice.
@Rekorder: Heavy lineup!!

thanks for posting these 3 bar fire. really like flying lotus! nice to hear Loefah open up with 1983 at the last DMZ.
@Optimum: I can never make up my mind about Dabrye. Part of me thinks he's really boring, part of me thinks he's ace. Essentially, if you distill his tracks down to about 1 min long they're really good, but they can't maintain the momentum over 3 minutes.
Anyone feeling the kaman leung album?

aye. I Liked the first dabrye album but his other stuff never did that much for me.

You mean Instrmtl? I could never really listen to any of his albums as albums, i do get too bored. By far and away my favourite of his was a 12" called the Payback - really deep remix by Outputmessage, a tight track from the man himself, and a Prefuse megamix taking up one side.

yeah either that one or 1/3. I don't sit through the whole thing as an album (crap attention span). just seem to prefer the beats on his earlier stuff.
