Been sitting on this one for almost a month....can't figure out a lead for the life of me

Any suggestions? I've tried a few leads, but none seem to match with the drop

Some cool synths in the drop, seems very static rhythmically to me though. I'd mess around with the drums a bit, make them follow the synths a bit more. Chuck some tom fills in there while ur at it. Main bass could use some stereo width also.

ermergerd, so glad you mentioned stereo widening, i've always felt that my basses sounded a bit underwhelming. Just tweaked some pan positioning in massive, def makes a big difference

thanks

'if you can, grab yourself basslane by tone projects. it's a freeware plugin that mono-ises below a selected frequency, so you can mono the bass that's been widened in massive.
