I'm looking for some spoken word house tunes, any suggestions and recommendations would be great. A few examples of the stuff I mean, I'm struggling to find anything along the same sort of vibe:
Used to belt the bananas out of this. The original is a lot more tribal if that's your sort of thing.

Yeah theres some amazing tunes in this lift. The peace division tune and the strictly rhythm release! Huge.
This track however I think is an utter stunner...definitely fits this spoken word thang

Oh shit, totally forgot about this tune
Not a big fan of his "hip house" releases, weak raps and pianos, this is really great tho, mr fingers bassline, todd terry's funky snares balanced by his monotonous voice. Does he sound like he just smoked himself a nice spliff? I wouldn't know, never tried it myself

Also check the list posted by thereturn on the same thread!
Plenty to check- there are also several new tracks with spoken vocals that I have recently heard
I compiled this list some time ago after hearing that Don Morris tune in the groove it’s raw, typical Chicago style house, it got me thinking about spoken vocal tracks and I’ve come up with these
The spoken house tracks mainly came out of Chicago and today you can hear poetry over house by artists such as Ursula Rucker, Rainy Payne and Roland Clarke to name 3
Here are some for you to check
The Children - Freedom check the Adonis deep mix -When I first heard Tadow Free (future classic) it reminded me of this one Big up Tadow
