Discogs Help

Post by Figment » Sun Jul 07, 2013 2:27 am

Easy,

finally decided to try and bag my first purchase on discogs, but i don't know heaps about it.

i've selected my records, all from the same seller, i get to the car page, click place order (check the box) and nothing happens.

can anyone let me know if i'm doing something wrong? or does that place the order button notify the seller?

thanks

You should get a message in your inbox after ticking the box, you'll get 'This message is a confirmation of your purchase from afsdfsdfsdifgsdif via Discogs.

Order: #13123423432423'

with the records you picked and the cost below, then the seller will get back to you with the shipping cost and you just click pay.

Is that what you're asking?

1. Bag goods
2. Checkout
3. Seller is notified
4. Seller will add shipping costs and invoice you/contact you for further information.
5. You pay
6. They ship goods

That's all bro!

so yeah, that would mean that ATM, i'm just waiting on the seller? which obviously makes sense, haha.

just confused because i click place order and my browser doesn't have to load anything, or just doesn't load anything, like i've not hit the button, but i have.
hahaha, cheers to both of you for the help, time will tell

once you tick the box and click 'place order' I swear the box turns green or something, did that not happen?

finally worked, haha, loaded a "order complete" or something page, finally.

it just didn't look right, must've been my internet connection or something (my net was capped when i tried to place the order, it wasn't when i made this thread, but discogs only worked today even after i reset safari and everything)

Cheers for the help again. :Q:
