Ez guys, i've been doing my research on monitors and these are the two that i'm stuck between. I need the low end response from a bigger cone, but i will be working in a very small room, say 3 average steps from front to back. The room will be fully treated, but i can't help thinking that the MR8 will be overkill in such a small room. Anyone had any experience will these monitors?
Cheers in advance!

Re: Mackie MR5 Vs MR8
For the money these are excellent monitors but as you say if your room is 3 steps in width the MR8s will be very over powered for such a small space.
