I've been looking a for a really good, horror film but every time I watch something that is supposedly terrifying I'm always left underwhelmed. Does anyone here have any real suggestions, something that is really fucked up and will keep me up at night? haha

really? i found it pretty creepy but i wouldn't say genuinely terrifying

it's if you really think about it and look into the background of it that it gets scary...I never get scared by anything new...I can see how kill list could freak people out but I ust assumed what happens in it was reality in the first place

funny games is very creepy. theres 2 versions though, the american one is lot more polished but is filmed shot for shot like the austrian version made before it. id go for the american one though

Thanks for all the suggestions so far, I've already seen a couple of the ones mentioned and they are definitely good shouts! I'm gonna go and read up all of these, keep them coming.

i thought the situation in the film was terrifying.. if u disagree though, fair enough. a mate at work saw it and fell asleep he said, so each to their own.

yh i hear u. can see how the film can make the viewer feel tense. lool had to google the music after u mentioned it man
