Electric Daisy Carnival London announces the addition of Idris Elba (Driis) to the already impressive line-up coming to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Saturday 20th July 2013.
British-born Idris Elba has made a name for himself starring in films such as ‘American Gangster’, ‘Prometheus’ and ‘Thor’ plus TV series such as cult hit ‘The Wire’ and UK BBC smash ‘Luther’. Under the moniker Driis however he has also forged a successful DJ career with residencies at Love & Liquor in West London, Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes and performances at Ushuaia warming up for deadmau5, David Guetta and Pete Tong. After his successful appearance at IMS this year we’re pleased to announce that Driis will be joining the HARD Arena line-up alongside Crookers, Destructo, Fake Blood, Jack Beats, Madeon, Porter Robinson and Rusko.
Did I miss something here? How long has Stringer Bell been doing warmup for DeadMau5?

He's always been a DJ I think, just the acting took over when it turned out he was bloody good at it.

Croikey m8. Stringer is a total badman. Great in the wire. McNulty was British too. His accent would only peak through a few times in the first season or two, and then he got better at it. Not Stringer though. I never knew Idris Elba was British until I read it online.

The moment when the credits for the last episode of The Wire started rolling here made a little sad. Good to see hes doing ok with acting though, i quite like him.
