Mr Beeb has made unbelievable progress as a producer since his debut EP with us back at BDEM005. He returns to us for BDEM010 with an extremely strong 2 track release sporting his now established signature wonky sounds and catchy as hell samples.
The first track 'Wish You Were Mine' is a real bubbly summery jam. Punchy swinging drums set the pace whilst wonky, bright textures fill the rest of the equation, topped off with a simple but extremely catchy cut up vocal making the track the perfect soundtrack of a daydream about a cutey you often see but have yet to approach. This track has been supported by BBC Radio 1 Introducing and has proved very popular in the promotion up to the release.
The second track is the perfect B-Side to the first, with a Funky-esque beat made from big, snappy drums, that signature Beeb lead wonkiness, a rolling bassline and a simple but catchy cut up one-liner vocal.
