I have not had a good mexican plate since san diego in 2000. The east coast has no clue what mexicali is all about.two oh one wrote:I once went to some place in Norwood that served Doritos with a Velveeta-like cheese and tinned plum tomatoes on them.Shocking. It was about as bad as Mexican food from the South/East coast of America.

Cali has very good mexican food as well !!!!
All I eat basically, couldn't live without it!
there are easily 5 or 6 hole-in-the-wall taquerias within a decent walking/cycling distance from my house.
it's heaven. and $1.50 authentic salvadoranian pupusas a few miles down the road, oh me oh my.
Its tough to find good Mexican food in the south . Which is really odd considering there are tons of Mexicans here . There are a bunch of Mexican restaurants but I'd say 85% of them are absolute crap . The south ain't got shit on Texas and Cali as far as good Taco's go . Its the truth .two oh one wrote: It was about as bad as Mexican food from the South/East coast of America.
