Do you hate the fact Dubstep became mainstream?

I mean that was the coolest thing about dubstep how it was underground. I know it's been mainstream for a while now but I hate hearing:

" What's that dubstep techno song?"
" I wanna make dubstep music like skrillex"

And the worst is when little girls who listen to justin bieber take a liking to it. :u:

Most people on here are not over it IMO. Personally I don't hate it, but I don't prefer it either. The early brostep days were actually pretty good. But then it just went too far. I was happy with Rusko's shit and Emalkay's "When I Look at You", but then when it became screeches and dinosaur sounds....wasn't too happy.

I agree, I mean almost all the songs with those monster growls are starting to sound the same.
