SoundcloudNottingham’s Tumble Audio label have provided us with an exclusive free download from Killjoy.
The track, ‘Feel 2 Gd’ follows on from the well received ‘Memories EP’ which dropped earlier in the month on Tumble. Although only a couple of releases deep into his career, Killjoy (formerly known as Ashburner) has already begun to carve out a signature sound that can be heard in full effect here. Off kilter funky indebted percussion drives a tune which sees a classic pairing of the light and the dark in its blend of sugary sweet vox and serious sub pressure. A perfect example of the exciting genre blending that’s happening in Nottingham’s bass community, its exclusively available for free download below.
