Bookz is a Grime and Dubstep DJ / Producer located in NYC. in 2005 he established New York City’s premier grimecrew, FIRST CITY, along with UK producer Nato aka mad scientist. His tunes have had support from Newham General’s DJ Tubby and BBC Radio 1′s Tim Westwood among others. Bookz currently spends the majority of his time working with First City Records as well as contributing to the DontsleepNYC blog. He has been featured on numorous releases including the historic‘Kings of New York’ mixtape, and the label collab ‘EastvsWest EP’. Bookz is soon to release the 'Feedback EP’ forthcoming on ManVSMachine inc.
DJ WHORES (Bad Looks/Grimey, SAC)
DJ Whores aka Daniel Osterhoff is a Three time Sacramento Area Music Award winner for "Best Dance DJ" (2009-11). Currently has a future bass music project called "BAD LOOKS" with friend and local Sacramento producer Waylonn. They have remixes and originals out currently on Brap Dem, Trouble & Bass and Hot n Heavy. Daniel is also the main man behind the popular bi-monthly Sacramento bass music dance night called "Grimey" (Also a two time Sacramento Area Music Award winner for "Best dance night" 2010-11).
