D1, BunZer0, Sinsky- Beyond the Milkyway EP- Soundproof Recs

Originally produced by Soundproof as a white label in 2006, there was a limited run of just 300 vinyls released and no digital media was ever available. Beyond the Milkyway is now being realized for the first time through the eyes of 3 quite unique and multitalented artists.
D1 opens the EP with a remix that he made back in 2006. A true "Lost Dub" from the vaults. The story is, he made the track and gave it to Soundproof on an unlabelled CD. That CD was then lost and eventually forgotten about until earlier this year when Soundproof found it whilst clearing out old music at their studio. It was very nearly thrown out with the rubbish. With that said, the track has that authentic vibe of the original dubstep scene because it IS original dubstep. D1 is in his rawest form here, on keys, beats and rhythm the soul and emotion pours at you in the way only D1 can do. Adding various melodies throughout the track and bringing good, deep energy from the word go,this is a piece of music all DJ's and music heads need in their collection.
BunZer0 shows the world his vision of Beyond the Milkyway. Coming from an experimental and futuristic angle, BunZer0 transports you to another galaxy that is full of weird and wonderful effects that swoop in at you from all directions. He lays down some deep space layers and ambient atmosphere alongside tight, juggling beats and eerie sounds. Polished production as per from the man who is making his own sound and taking it to new levels on Beyond the Milkyway.
Last but by no means least is the remix from newcomer Sinsky. Hailing from Poland, Sinsky is a producer to listen out for. The mood he sets on his remix is intense and melancholic from the get go. Pitched vocals and dubbed out melodies lead the march to dance, the sub is low and warm, the tone is beautiful. Sinsky's remix of Beyond the Milkyway is the track you want to play on repeat for several hours at a time because its so sincere and genuine. A must listen, and own track that will enhance your mood instantly.
