London Clubs?

Hey guys!

I lived in London a while back and have just returned from a long stint living abroad. I used to really love the old hadrcore dub nights (DMZ at Mass etc) but have found a lot of them are no longer running since returning, even Fabric has changed a lot. What are the best underground nights now in your opinion for dubstep/hardcore?

Thanks for the help

Corsica is good, shame they dont seem to get big nights there very often. Guess its a capacity thing?
Lightbox/fire isnt bad.

If its on RA its not going to be very underground, christ knows I stood in the line for Untold/kowton a few weeks ago surrounded by people that had only come because it opens late.
Cable closing hasnt really helped that as that used to be the place open the latest for those time of people to flock too.
System is the only proper dubstep night but after this one in a fortnight, thats it for the year.

Croydub as well always seems big judging by line-ups, havent been yet tho bit of a trek home.

Shame about Cable, for all the sunglass and vest crew that pissed me off there (one time while I was throwing up in the smoking area at subdub night someone swiped baccy with zoots in it from my back pocket. C****!) it still had a few big nights regularly.

Fire seems to have done that, not a big fan of the place.

fwd's new home, dance tunnel, is actually a vibe though.
and the dome ofc

dearth of clubs right now.
Matter is re-opening again lets home its not a complete cuntary like proud2 was
Corsica Studios (specifically room 2) is still the best in london
XOYO is also pretty good.
Wish people would book more nuum events in Concrete basement, one of the best venues around

Wish I had some money and half a clue, id just start a dubstep night in corsica.
Someone more proactive and richer than me do it!
Place is small so it wouldnt be hard to hit capacity id have thought? I mean for a good line up anyway.
Guess that means not much profit either though.

Matter has died like 3 times now? the place isnt bad its just a mission to get too.
Could have the best setup in the world but if its a ball ache to get to and from youve stuffed yourself from the word go
nice smoking area though

medi nights always seem rammed (in a gd way ofc) so the demand is deya.
good news about matter starting again as a 'blank canvas', always liked that place.

wouldn't say things are dead either as loads of studio/unit warehouse type venues have cropped up from nowhere for that house/techno wave that's going around atm. carnival weekend aside doe, ldn is looking pretty dismal.

This cool venue housed under railway arches showcases an incredibly diverse range of music to a warm and friendly crowd. Cargo's tasty global street food canteen is not to be missed either. Free entry before 10pm on Fridays :P :P :P
