I'm trying to get really thick drums and percussion in my track. Example:
Actually the whole track sounds thick.
However is it about the multiband saturation, multiband compression? Maybe just trying to have as less shit going on at the same time as possible?
I even heard some people just go stacking the same sound over and over.... didn't try this one.
Or is it some special tactics, super complicated shit? Hoping it's not. (._.)

To me those drums aren't that 'thick' a lot of the weight in this track is coming from the sub/bass. If I was looking to recreate those sounds I'd probably be looking at some mild distortion (most likely some bit crushing) and sounds like the drum sources are fairly simple (the kick sounds pretty basic). The snare/clap thing sounds layered, I'd play about with one of the layer being pushed forwards a little in time (so it hits just before the main transient of it) that helps spread the sound and give a 'loose' feel.

So it's basically distorting and keeping the things simple?
Those drums/hits sound pretty thick to me btw.. :3

The kick simple yes.
The snare/clap thing a little more layered
The hats there's a fair few of 'em going on.
Yeah some slight distortion (maybe some tape saturation might work best) and make sure to highpass to make room for that massive sub.

Yeah I was worried because I don't have the bitcrusher in fabfilter saturn..

Oh shit, that track was amazing.
The whole time, I was just trying to figure out what it was that impressed me, and made me love it, but I don't know.
It just WAS GOOD. :/

Outbound is definitely right about the snare. That's the best part of the track IMO. It sounds spread out because one sample is hitting a few milliseconds before another, which is hitting right before another still IMO. Love that sound.
