So we all know of the allegations made against Guetta for standing there and playing a ready made set whilst pretending to do stuff on a set of CDJ's.
This isn't a have-a-go-at-Guetta thread, it's just about your opinion on DJing.
So, obviously standing there playing a ready made set and pretending to do stuff is cheating and a no-no, and is at one end of the scale. At the other is picking out every track on the fly and not knowing what you're playing until you're up there and playing. What about if you're mixing together small mini-sets, like 10 minutes of prepared music, and you're mixing those together for a few hours? Or, what about if you play two tracks simultaneously which each have tracks on at the right times, but you are live mixing with the crossfader, EQ and effects?
Just wondering what your opinions are on this.

I'm not that bothered about people planning their sets out plus we would never know. Long as they don't continue to play the same set all of the time it's alright.

As someone that like music when i press play button i lissten from the beginning to the end but meny pple press play button and just jump tro the sound. And its srebme not a flamme because the srebme when they dye, most of the time comes to some unburning to flamme it . It's about the idee that music is aleways transmit somewhere else and during the ''ON'' process of the sound u hear the personnality.

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
I've been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like.
It's just common sense.

Just to use a familiar example to anyone on this board, I love Dj EZ, his skills, vibes, tune selection is second to none.
However, he's been playing the same damn set (with the addition of some dusky and disclosure in the last 3 years) for near 10 years. The same damn mixes! 90% if not all of his set is preplanned. he ain't cheating, he'd put near any garage dj to shame, yet I find him his dull, to the point where I'm not excited to see him anymore.
Dunno how thats really related, just ranting.
I make music as Forsaken, you can DL all my unreleased (and a couple released) bits here.

yup
anyway, nothing wrong with planning. plenty of shit wrong with pre-burning a cd with a mix on it to play out.
