Sounds like you've got a lot of clashing in the low end. If you're having trouble with the EQing, try putting a spectral analyser on the master then soloing each element in turn whilst you listen...the analyser will show up any frequencies you're having trouble identifying.
Then creatively EQ the elements around one another so you don't have too many sounds fighting for the same space, which causes the muddiness that you've got here.
