I went for my 18th birthday, or was it 21st, anyway, it was fun. It doesn't feel like you're falling at all, cool feeling

I done it a few years ago, I didn't really think about it I just got asked if I wanted to do it. Didn't really think about it until I was hanging out the plane then I thought 'humans aren't suppose to be doing this shit, gravity isn't suppose to be fucked about with like this'.
Scariest part is when they hang you out the plane.. you're connected to them by 4 hooks and they sit on the edge of the plane so you're just dangling out of it staring at the ground.
Recommend everybody to do it, great experience. Don't go pub afterwards though, 1 pint knockout. Its crazy how much the adrenalin writes you off for the day.
My jump was 12,000ft.

It wasn't tandem? Or you were both hanging on the hooks?

Parachutes are for pussies, it's a myth that you will dye jumping from a great height, worst case scenario is that you may turn your rectum inside-out.

unless you've done loads you have to do tandem, you can do static-line on your own but there's no freefall i think
this one's 15000 feet :O

that's the bit i'm dreading, im sure the fall is amazing but the idea of dangling off an edge freaks me out. I don't think I could ever do a bungee jump

Yeah it's definitely the bit where you're dangling out of the plane that's the scary bit. Coz they shuffle you out slowly while you're sat on your tandem partner, so you can see the door approaching and you're slowly edged out. And then you have to lie backwards before they tilt you over 180 degrees and you fall off the plane.
After that bit, it's fine because you pretty much just have to resign yourself to the fact that there's nothing more you can do about it, so why not enjoy the ride.
