I use EXS24 on multi output to tune/sequence my drums. It's awesome, but its a hassle to set up for every project. I try to have it in my template, but when I add the drums in one project, it changes it in all the others. any suggestions?

Well, I don't use ESX24 or Logic really, but it sounds like you're overwriting the template. What happens if you don't save the ESX24 patch at all, and just save the project? Won't that work? Or just save a new copy of the ESX24 patch, but not as the default/template.
