I'd disagree, by giving the contests their own space we're giving them more priority by removing from the general clutter of the main Production group.Electric_Head wrote:Agreed.
Imo the competitions are an important part of the production forum.
Moving it to a sub-section has made it seem irrelevant.
It will work if folks start using the sub section more.wub wrote:I'd disagree, by giving the contests their own space we're giving them more priority by removing from the general clutter of the main Production group.Electric_Head wrote:Agreed.

For now it seems to detract from the competitions.

right, who's in???
Well, W I T F is the point of moving these threads out of production if you've got to go back into production and put threads in there bringing people to these threads here.wub wrote:Electric_Head wrote:It will work if folks start using the sub section more.wub wrote:I'd disagree, by giving the contests their own space we're giving them more priority by removing from the general clutter of the main Production group.Electric_Head wrote:Agreed.

Sound Design was slow to get going as well. Suggest we have regular threads in main Production talking about the contests and directing people in here to view/enter them.
Because people need directing until the change becomes second nature. Our intention is for the Production group to grow, having a seperate section for contests is a step toward that.nowaysj wrote:Well, W I T F is the point of moving these threads out of production if you've got to go back into production and put threads in there bringing people to these threads here.
Sound Design...the sub forum we have dedicated to that is doing well.nowaysj wrote:Right on. What was that other thread that you spun off? Sound design or dubs? Did they take off outside of production?
